    YouTube for Non-Profits

    The good folks at Mashable.com put together a list of 5 ways non-profits can use YouTube to help their efforts. Here's the short version:
    1. Use the YouTube Non-profit Program
    2. Video Annotations
    3. YouTube's Video Volunteer Program
    4. Optimize for search
    5. YouTube Insight
    I would add that it is worth integrating into other platforms, particularly a good Facebook fan page. You can use this application and FBML to create a standalone YouTube tab on your fan page or (better yet) to incorporate the video into a great landing page. I'll dive into landing pages more next week...
